Rathole Radio
June 11th, 2009 by DanHey folks, it’s been a looooong time since I updated this blog with any new music, and I thought I should let you know what’s going on right now. I’m still very busy with Linux Outlaws and other things, so recording that album I’ve threatened for years isn’t getting any closer. I’ve also started using danlynch.org as my main site (ooh get me) and eventually everything here will be transfered to danlynch.org/music to keep it simple. I’ll redirect the domain name and all so you should be able to find me easily. I am still working on music projects when I get time and writing new stuff. There are exciting things happening in the form of a new podcast and Internet radio show all about music called Rathole Radio. I’ve only done one episode so far but the next one is to follow this Sunday at 9pm UK time, see ratholeradio.org/live for details.
I’m also playing live sessions on the show so you can hear new music from me on there. I just wanted to update this blog to make sure everyone knew and didn’t feel left out. My main focus music-wise for the next few months will be Rathole Radio and I hope you’ll enjoy it. I’m also playing demos, rare tracks and anything with a Free Culture angle on the show. Anything that I think is good musically and I can get away with playing legally. I’m aiming for a bit of a John Peel vibe to it, so if you have any suggestions or music you think I should listen to. Please do drop me a line. You can leave comments at ratholeradio.org or send email directly to – show AT ratholeradio DOT org
I’m not closing this blog but it may be a while before I can move everything to danlynch.org, so keep an eye on that for developments. I’m still doing music and will be active, eventually this site will redirect to a new home. I wanted to thank everyone for listening to the stuff I’ve posted here, writing such kind comments and generally being great to me. I appreciate it a lot and I hope we won’t lose anyone in the transition to the new home.
Take care and I’ll see you all very soon
Dan
